### PAGA Case: Santander

Santander Cash Nexus – global tool for centralization of treasury

## Description

Santander Cash Nexus provides a single access point to Santander´s local services (local payment methods, cross border payments* and real time, daily and intraday information on account balances and movements) through a variety of global standard connectivity channels (H2H, SWIFT, Ebics) or global online banking. The solution is suitable for multinational companies within different segments that bank with Santander across various geographies. Its principal advantage is the connectivity; however, it can help clients to manage their international operations on a central level (control from the HQ, authorizations, etc). The solution is cost-effective in terms of reporting consolidation, it leverages the control issues that many multinational HQs face, and it is compatible with any global ERP/TMS. It allows to concentrate around 93% of all treasury operation in a single solution and to process local and international payments using a single, global standard format (without a need to develop local formats in each geography). *Complete solution available for accounts in SAN AR, BR, CL, PE, CO, MX, ES, PT; partially for USA and PL (only through direct channels, no online banking). However, cross border payments can be sent only from Santander accounts in MX, PE, UY, ES, PT, PL, USA (same currency and different currencies with real time FX) and CL (same currency, EUR or USD, no FX).
